"Great deal for the price"
I stayed here for a few days and it was a good stay. It is conveniently located down the street from the Barberini train station and not far from the Trevi fountain which makes it extremely convenient. The b&b Itself is old, the room had a wooden ceiling and antiquish furniture - the bathroom though was remodeled everything was very modern.T
"Little Gem!"
I stayed here twice, but I'm not the one who originally found this little jewel. We rendezvoused in Rome for some girl time (with only one off-spring). The rooms are spacious enough for luggage, the staff are accomodating, and the location could not be better.
There's a subway stop very near, several small restaurants adjacent and a Bernini fountain on the piazza at the middle of the street's block. Wow time, for sure. The prices are so modest you can afford to stay longer or eat fancier. Not very far from the Spanish Steps or the Trevi Fountain, either. What's not to love. There's a bar in the hotel lobby next door that is also owned by the same family.
"Good b&b, great location. "
Having read TA reviews of Hotel Julia we booked a suite in Domus Julia next door and we were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and elegantly furnished with antique furniture. The bed had a very firm mattress which we found very comfortable.Despite its central location the street is very quiet on a night and affords restful nights' sleep. Added touches: a kettle and teabags and bottled water replenished every day in the room's refrigerator. However the shower itself was very efficient with constant hot water. The buffet breakfast which was served next door in Hotel Julia was very good especially the endless supply of bread, meat and coffee. The dining room and the bar areas are quite small however. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. But the biggest plus of this small hotel is its great location just 15 minutes walk from Termini and 5 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps (incidentally from where an excellent free English speaking guided tour starts from daily at 17:30). Would definitely recommend this charming small hotel.
"Great B&B in great location "
We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room which was a good size for 3 adults sharing & bigger than many other hotels we stayed in Europe. Breakfast was served next door in the hotel which was plentiful. The best thing is the location approx 5 mins walk from The Trevi Fountain which if you know Rome makes it pretty close to most other attractions. The staff were friendly & helpful we would definitely stay here again
"Didn't need anything else from our b&b "
Great hotel, 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, 15 minutes walk from Termini station. Really friendly and helpful staff and the suite was great, spotless with air conditioning, a fridge including complimentary water, and a large bathroom, no problems with hot water. Close to lots of places to go and eat and the street is relatively quiet, compared to some of the streets closer to the main sites. Breakfast was fine, plenty of food. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
"Great B & B "
We read about this B&B on trip advisor before booking. Great place to stay based on the amount we paid. We stayed 4 days in October 2011. Location wise it's very central and walkable to the major sites we wanted to see in Rome ie:Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.and the subway is close by for farther sites like the Coliseum. We stayed in the annex (the building next to the hotel), we had 2 double beds and were pleasantly surprised the room was bigger than we expected, Clean, comfortable accommodations and staff was helpful. The only problem we encountered one night was the hot water running out.
"BED And Breakfast Domus Julia"
Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2013. Lovely little hotel and central location. Breakfast is continental which you would expect in Europe. Plenty of it as staff are constantly refreshing it. Hotel five minutes from the Trevi Fountain and also the Spanish steps. Hotel staff are extremely helpful in answering your tourist enquiries. Nothing is too much trouble, no matter how busy they are. They even have a spare p.c. that residents can use to check-in on line with their airline company. Great. I don't recommend many places, but this one I do.
