Rome Film Festival 2019

Rome Auditorium Parco della Musica The 14th Rome Film Fest will be held from 17th to 27th October 2019 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and in other venues throughout the city. The Auditorium Parco della Musica has been the heart of the Rome Film Fest since 2006 with the red carpet and the screening rooms. The event hosted a large and challenging programme of screenings, master classes, tributes, retrospectives, panels, and special events. The Fest will involve many other locations in Rome.

VALADIER EXHIBITION

ROME GALLERIA BORGHESE from 30 October 2019 till 02 February 2020 Splendor in the Rome of the '700, exhibition at the Borghese Gallery | autumn 2019 "will arrive on October 30 at the Galleria Borghese and will be present until February 2, 2020, the Valadier exhibition. The exhibition dedicated to Luigi Valadier The Galleria Borghese, in fact, decided to dedicate the great monographic exhibition of the autumn to Luigi Valadier (1726-1785), protagonist of the renewal of taste in Rome in the mid-700s. The exhibition, curated by Anna Coliva, follows the one dedicated to Lucio Fontana dedicated to two specific productions by Lucio Fontana, that of ceramics and that of paintings, selected respectively in the theme of the Crucifixions and in that of gold.

CONCERTS IN CARACALLA'S THERMS SUMMER EDITION 2019

CONCERT IN THE THERMAL BATH OF CARACALLA SUMMER EDITION FROM 21 JUNE TO 07 AUGUST 2019 The next summer season of the Opera House in Caracalla promises to be full of emotions. Three titles in the program, in addition to the now usual Extra already announced. It starts with Francesco De Gregori who will open the 2019 season on June 11th in a brand new style, accompanied for the first time by a great orchestra, with De Gregori & Orchestra - Greatest live hits. Following a great return to the ancient Baths: Ennio Morricone will direct his music for the cinema in six extraordinary concerts on 15, 16, 18, 19, 21 and 22 June. The concerts, which are part of his "60 Years of Music" World Tour, will represent the last, unmissable occasion in which the Maestro will play his beloved music before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. In July the usual summer appointment with the Roberto Bolle and Friends gala, on the 9th and 10th, remains an unprecedented moment for appreciation and presence. On 20 and 21 July it will be the turn of Mark Knopfler and his band. Listening to this great live artist will be an unforgettable experience, enhanced by the unmistakable charm of Roman ruins. On 22 July the great pianists and composers Stefano Bollani and Chucho Valdés will meet to play together in a new and unique project without precedent. In the exceptional context of the Baths of Caracalla the two artists will start a tour, Piano a Piano. From Cuba to Rome, which will continue throughout the world. Ninety minutes of improvisation destined to create a musical show of incredible impact for the public. The operatic and ballet billboard will offer three titles of great appeal to the public. There will be a new set-up of Verdi's Aida, a melodrama that is very suitable for the open and imposing space of the ancient Baths, which was missing from Caracalla since 2011. Two more will be added: La traviata and ballet Romeo and Juliet.
